North Sentinel Island: It is home to the Andaman Nicobar Sentinelese tribe who have no contact with the rest of the world. This is a protected area.
South Sentinel Island: The island is protected by the presence of the Sentinel tribe.
Interview Island: Access to this island is prohibited without the permission of the Government of India as it is reserved for tribals.
East Island: Several parts are reserved for the protection of indigenous tribes.
Little Andaman: The area suffered severe tsunami damage and some parts are preserved due to tribal presence.
Shompens' Reserve: Access is restricted to preserve the culture of Shompens tribes.
Narcotics Island (formerly known as Duncan Island): This island is not ideal for tourists.
Trinket Island: The Government of India has naval bases, due to which access is restricted.
Tarmugli Island: Reserved for the Nicobarese tribes.
North and Middle Andaman Islands Coastal Reserve: Reserved for conservation of biodiversity and protection of indigenous tribes.
